With the world changing at a pace like never before and the post pandemic market bounce back taking place, people have taken up new career paths and made switches like never before.

Astonishingly the maximum jumps have been made by people who are in their 40s or 50s compared to people in 20s or 30s as used to be the case.

This seems to have stemmed from the realization that inflow coming in would be the same with pay cuts so might as well do something we are passionate about or the fact that a pandemic could happen anytime so might as well give a shot to what one loves.

So if you are someone who is thinking about or in the process of a transition my only take is – ‘Age is most definitely just a number’.

Regretting not doing something you’ve wanted to do for the longest time is a part of life I hope none of you ever face.

Just to add a further bit of motivation, do remember Col Sanders founded KFC at the age of 61, Mr. Tolkien was 62 when Lord of the Rings came out!

Last but not the least I can say this with pride that I switched my path into Career Coaching at the age of 47 and trust me nothing is more fulfilling.
